Due to the fact it occupies the "second" floor of an apartment block, its pretty difficult to find. There is a lift but I didn't think my travel insurance covered me for death whilst in such a contraption. The rooms, though basic, are clean and comfy. Dont expect anything like internet connections, fax, turn-in service (unless you particularly like Grandma Lyon, or she likes you), or room service. Air con comprises a hole in the window which is partially covered by a wooden block - this is a converted flat with a local feel about it. Considering the high prices of other hotels in Barcelona, this is a gem of a find.. Read review

Good location near the Barceloneta metro, comfortable either for short or long stay and totally outdated interior. Furthermore friendly staff, the room was cleaned every day.

We climbed 4 flights of stairs before we located a grumpy old manuel spoke no english and the only good thing about this hotel was its location. The bathroom was great.
