Margarita Hotel details: Located at Firostefani, one of the most beautiful spots in Santorini Island, this hotel is just in front of the road that leads to Caldera.

Traditional Santorini hospitality is offered to you in order to make your holidays unforgettable. The hotel consists of 20 air conditioned rooms, with modern facilities and traditional built-in beds. Each room has its own balcony with a view of the daily sunrise and can accommodate 2 or 3 people. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, including one for children, and a pool bar where you can enjoy your drinks. Free Wi-Fi internet access is offered in the cafe and there is also a spacious car parking area.

There is a 15-seat minibus at the hotel for your transport. The staff also offer car and motorbike hire. There is also a 33-seat luxury bus available, which can be used to organise sightseeing tours around the island and the volcano.

Free transfer from / to the airport or sea port is available upon request.

I Stayed at the Margarita in April 08, the service was great and the rooms were tidy. The rooms had been painted the day before i arrrived but they weren't at all smelling like paint. Fresh towels everyday and the owner was a delight. Very helpful staff. Not too far from Fira just a quick walk. Overall i would recommend the Margarita, it was a pleasure staying there

In a good location, not on the Caldera side of the island but an easy 5 minute walk to the view and a nice selection of restaurants and shops. Clean swimming pool, air-conditioning, good continental breakfast provided. Hotel itself is nice with all rooms having balconies however we were very disappointed on arrival to find that we were placed in the only room not in the Hotel but in a corner of the pool area by the utility lock-up, it had one small window and a door - nothing like the website photos or their brochure, very basic and provided no privacy from pool users. I'm not sure if this is a room Margarita use only for guests who book online with a booking agent, but if so it should be made clear to prospective guests. The Hotel Manager insisted on cash and only issued a very limited receipt when we requested it. Would definitely recommend getting confirmation of room location if booking. Santorini is spectacular, well worth seeing. S Walker, New Zealand
