Travel information
By Air:
From Barcelona Airport:.
You can either take a taxi (about EUR 30) or alternatively the Aerobús airport shuttle departs from in front of the terminal and goes to Plaza Catalunya.
From Girona Airport:
The hotel recommends that you take a taxi, especially if arriving at night. However if you are taking public transport, in order to not get lost, the hotel recommends that you take the train from the Arc del Triomf station (next to the bus station) and get off in Plaza Catalunya (1 or 2 stops).
From Plaza Catalunya by Public Transport:
Take the FGC (Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat de Catalunya) line 7 as far as Plaça Molina. Alternatively take underground line 3 (green) to Lesseps station, which is 3 streets away and well-connected to the city centre. Barcelona City North is close to both stations - ask for Saragossa street or consult the map.
By Train:
You will probably arrive at Sants station (if you do not, contact the hostel). From the station, take underground line 3 (green) to Lesseps. Another possibility is to take bus number 32 and get off at Avenida Príncipe de Asturias (ask the driver).
By Bus:
There are many buses that pass very close to the hostel. These buses connect to the main spots in the city such as Plaza Catalunya or Plaza Urquinaona (line 16 or 17), Barcelona beach (line 17), Plaza España- Montjuich-Exhibition hall (line 27), the University area (line 74), the Hospital Clinic or the Quirón clinic (line 31, line 32) or the Hospital Vall d´Hebron (line 17, line 27). Please ask the staff for more information about this on arrival.
At Night:
The underground is only closes for 3 hours at weekends (from 02:00 to 05:00), and for 5 hours from Sunday to Thursday (from 00:00 to 05:00). If shut, you can still use a taxi or night bus. The best night bus to use is the N-5 from Plaza Catalunya, which drops you one street from the hostel (ask the driver for Plaça Molina).
