987 Barcelona Hotel - Barcelona, Spain 

"Loved the Hotel, but location wasn't brilliant!"

The 987 Barcelona is a beautiful hotel with a brilliant service. The hotel is new modern and extremely clean. The staff are more than helpful and speak good english. The breakfast which was included in the price was amazing, a buffet of every kind of food you could imagine. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels left each day. Also a nice touch they leave a card with tommorow's weather forecast and a choclate! Overall this hotel was amazing. The only downside was the view. I asked for a terrace but they couldn't give me one. The view from our room was looking at a wall into another room. That's the only downside we encountered with the hotel. In relation to getting around, if I was to visit Barcelona again I would stay more centrally. There was a lot of walking involved to and from the hotel and the night-life was non-existant around the hotel, apart from one pub "The Dow Jones" which I would recommend as a really friendly pub. All in all though the 987 Bareclona could not be faulted.

This hotel can be described as Chic, Sophisticated and really lovely. Fabolous safe location with easy access to all sites and metros. See Trip Advisor for more reviews on this hotel,

The room was very clean and stylish. But our room was not so wide although we have ordered triple room. I felt that all of the staffs of this hotel are all kind and gentle.

Behind an old facade, a very pleasant modern hotel. Colours and design of rooms and common areas are quite avant garde but pleasant. Both rooms were very quiet which enabled us to sleep with an open window. About 5 minutes away from tourist bus stop and 30 minutes from the sea by foot. We will return!
