Really nice hotel with good breakfast but as we booked this as a last minute break we did not realise that this hotel is a long way from the city centre. You can get a bus from the back of the hotel which takes around 15 mins. The olympic port was around 30 minute walk away from the hotel or a 10 minute bus ride away, here there is a wide choice of resturants and a lovely beach. You can get on the tour bus too which will take you all round Barcelonas hot spots. We also visited the zoo which was brilliant and very cheap. Overall holiday was ok, just make sure you pack your walking shoes. We stayed for 4 days and had done most by the 3rd day so that on our last day we had to check out the hotel by noon and we had a night flight, we walked around a bit again but did get quite bored as we had seen everything that interested us, we did end up going to the airport 8 hours early for our flight.

We stayed at this hotel on the final 2 nights of our honeymoon. The so callled 4 star hotel had dirty sheets, stained blankets, and a bug in the shower. They don't even offer a comforter. On top of that that the staff is very rude when you ask for something. I looked at another room, only to find the same problems (stained sheets). We we were so disgusted we just stayed out all night on our 2nd night to avoid sleeping in those beds. Also note that the metro line at this hotel is down for the summer, there is a free shuttle bus (15 min walk) that takes you to the BarcaloNETA station (NOT CENTRAL BARCELONA). The bus takes a while though. Also service not available after 12 or 2am. Taxi is $$$. Only good thing was, it's right across the beach. PAY A BIT MORE AND stay somewhere else!
