Everything was OK for a 3 star hotel except the fact that we were not able to see any single ray of sunshine in our room. I felt depressed a little bit... Free minibar and internet were appreciated.

Decent hotel with clean rooms and a free minibar (don't expect alcohol or food though). There were two computers with free internet in the lobby which was nice. They also had a night guard in the evening which was comforting. Excellent location (depending on your point of view) close to the Arc de Triomf metro/RENFE stop. From the Airport we took the RENFE train Line #10 to Barcelona-Sants from there you can catch RENFE Lines 1,4,3 or 7 to Arc de Triomf and it's about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. In more of a residential neighborhood so it is quiet at night and the streets are dead. La Sagrada Familia is about 1km away and Las Ramblas about 2km away (walkable distances). Given how expensive Barcelona is, we were very happy with what you get for the price. Two complaints: 1) Had trouble booking directly through their website here in the U.S. Needed to go through another website to book. 2) We checked out very early in the morning and the front desk person did not know how to use the Credit Card machine. He made us think that two of our credit cards were being rejected. After the 3rd try on the 2nd card (5th try overall) he figured it out. Luckily we checked out even earlier as we had to catch an early train.
