El hotel esta bastante bien y bien ubicado. Lo único malo es que el desayuno no esta incluido en la tarifa y vale 9 euros por persona, lo cual es bastante caro para lo que es. Para la proxima oportunidad buscaré un hotel por la misma tarifa, pero que incluya el desayuno.

Myself and my wife travelled to Barcelona for our second wedding anniversary. I had emailed the hotel before arrival to mention the reason for our stay, but got no reply. The hotel's location was the prime reason for staying there as it was central to most places of interest within Barcelona. The main problem we experienced was with the staff who were not friendly or particularly helpful. On our arrival, when it was obvious we were waiting to check in as we stood there with our luggage, the person on the reception wasted time showing someone directions on a map without so much as an apologies for the delay. A simple "I will be with you in a moment" would have sufficed. Once we had eventually been given our key there was no "enjoy your stay", nothing! It was similar on checking out, the guy was on the phone, processed my credit card and just gave the receipt back whilst still talking (I don't even think it was a call to do with hotel business). Although the room was clean and adequate for a short stay, there was a lot of noise from the plumbing in both our bathroom and from other rooms. After heavy rainfall there was also a bad drainage smell on one day. p.s we also had to pay for the use of the safe dfeposit box in the room which is very unusual these days.

A small, clean and nice hotel. Very friendly, nice and helpful staff. Very good location: Bus Station in front of hotel, 100 m to Barceloneta metro station, 50 m to Barcelona Touristic Bus, 300 m to Port, Aquarium, Rambla de Mar. We stayed 1 week and definitely we would return there next time.

The hotel is in a very good location with everything within walking distance. We were there for 2 overnight stays and the temperature was over 30degC each time but the airconditioning to the rooms wasn't working and it was boiling hot. The reception area and dining room were both cool but the rooms were not. At the breakfast buffet I think they try to please every nationality but they didn't know that you have to cook bacon - it was RAW.

We stayed Two Nights in July. there is no portage avaliable not good for elderly people ,in the room we were alocated the a/con was not working. after a lot of trouble at the desk I was relocated to another room the a/con only gave out about 40% Barcelona is very hot this time of year only one key card to use the electric services eg a/con,I asked for ice blocks for drinks, not available they have a soft drink machine in hall way but no fridge in room,or tea or coffee making facilitys I was told ice machine was broken,the tv was not tuned into cnn or bbc world the rest of the tv channels were all european stations the european soccer final was on but I could not get this channel I phoned reception and was advised they would get it fixed next day,we paid for breakfast it was disgusting only ate there once we both felt sick afterwards. I asked for the Key to use the in room safe I was charged 2 Euros.a day for the key they also charged 28 cents to call a cab to airport., the staff in the reception where very rude. Considering we paid $300 per night the only good thing about this hotel was location, I have read the other reviews and I wonder if this is the same hotel ? take my advice dont stay there,Grumphy
