I really liked this hotel it is very modern and the staff is very helpfull and they speak english very well. My only small problem was that after 9AM is a bit noisy as you can hear people walking around as it is all hard wood floors. I traveled alone so it was fine that the bathroom doors are all glass, meaning if there is somebody there w/ you they can see you using the bathroom or taking a shower. The breakfast is great and loved their sangria.

The pool shown on the photographs is extremly small in reality. There is no chance for swimming. the pool is only about 5 meters long. Okay, 4 Person can sit in it, which may be fun to people located in a desert. Another point that was not okay: The walls in my room were a little bit dirty. Painted with shoe polish and other things. I better don´t wanted to know the details... The rubber around the bathtub should be renowed. There was mud on it. That´s not the guilt of the cleaning personal, it´s a case for renovation. Besides to those points my room was really clean. Cool furniture and flooring in it, good TV. And the room size was only adequate. Okay, maybe the rooms in a highly recommended 4star hotel should be greater. Just bad: it was very loud due to very thin walls. The design of the other parts of the granados83 is simply great and the service was demonstrative friendly. Location is okay. You can walk to all the points of interest in the city and if you don´t want to walk - there is a medro station nearby. The district (near balmes and the upper rambles) looks quite safe - there are quarters in barcelona i don´t want to walk throgh at night. I paid 91€ per night for a single room without breakfast. This was absolutly okay and a good deal. But the regular price (up to 140€ and more) is too high´in my eyes. But you should know: Even if you get cheap rooms - it´s an design hotel and a real cool location, which means that you may look kind of dislocated with leasure wear. Zebrano wood, marble and lot´s of glass suits not really to trekking clothes in my eyes. :-)

The hotel is modern and very striking in its design - the lift and access to the floors are spectacular! The room was perfectly clean and of the same modern design. The lighting system took a little getting used to as the room key is necessary to make it work. The breakfast was good but expensive and the restaurant prices were high. An very enjoyable stay.

Front desk was very helpful. Hotel restaurant not open Sunday night, but great restaurants abound nearby. Really enjoyed our brief stay. Would stay there again.
