What a wonderful hotel. I selected it based on the Trip Advisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. We only stayed for one night, arriving at 0800 after a trans-Atlantic cruise. Understandably, the room was not ready, but the front desk staff cound not have been more helpful, offering sightseeing and dining advice, and the promise to call our cell phone the moment the room became available. Great location, with 5 star restaurants mixed in with reasonable alternatives in the immediate area. Luigi the bartender was very nice and entertaining, and the entire staff was very professional, yet extremely nice. The room was not large, but clean and nicely decorated, and it met our purposes. I look forward to returning to Barcelona, and will make the Hotel Pulitizer my base.

An absolute beautyful hotel with friendly and competent staff at reception, bar and restaurant. Unfortunately my room had no view as it was in the back and gave on a flat rooftop surrounded by high walls, I couldn't open the window at night or someone could walk in. (106?) There was no space to put my suitcase and in the bathroom the stopper in the sink was broken so the water stayed in the sink as I found out late at night. I pried it open and left it out so the cleaning lady would notice, but she simply put it back again, so I had to get it out a second time next evening. I should have called housekeeping but as I was hardly in the room I didn't want to be bothered. Nevertheless my compliments, I loved the whole design of the hotel.

We found the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and courteous, and made a very special effort to highlight a special occasion for us. Hotel is very central, and within easy reach of all wellknown attractions. Breakfast is good if a little pricy. We would definitely use this hotel on any return visit.

The location of this hotel was great. It was our first time staying there and we would gladly return. One small problem is that there is no sign outside the hotel so it was difficult finding it the first time.
