Vincci Maritimo - Barcelona, Spain     

Loved this hotel, great location by the metro. Amazing hotel, very clean, modern look. Very cool wake up call system which rings into the TV and not your phone.

Stayed at this place during a convention that was held at the nearby convention center. First off the good: the hotel is fairly new so it's relatively clean, close to a big shopping mall with resturants and a huge supermarket. The staff were all helpful and most speak English without a problem. The bathroom is nice with a shower that spouts like a gallon of water a second. The hotel is also fairly close to the convention center so if you have business there, it's a walking distance (10 minutes or so). Now the bad: Since the convention center is located in an area of Barcelona which is far from the center of the city, you won't get the full Barcelona experience if just stay around this area (it's fairly dead at night). You can of course take the subwar to the center of the city, but it's a hassel none the less. The hotel charges 9 Euros per hour for internet cost (think it was around 19 euros for 24 hours...still crazy prices). Overall, an OK stay, but next time, I would stay near the center of the city where there's more things to do at night.
