What Travellers Like

I had requested a room with a balcony on the fourth or fifth floor and was given a nice room (425). Nice robes and slippers were provided and the bathroom was excellent. As indicated elsewhere, the bed was very large and comfortable and assorted pillows were provided. Nice touches: I was able to use the computer in the lobby (if you ask they will provide you with a business coupon good for 15 minutes of free internet). They provide many daily papers in the lobby including the International Herald Tribune.. Read review

Arrived by airport bus in Catalunia Square and 5 minutes easy walk to hotel. 2 minutes from Ramblas and on edge of Gothic Quarter yet sufficiently quiet to sleep with window open. Standard room very comfortable and clean (and extra blankets and choice of pillows). All staff met were v helpful and pleasant. Excellent extensive buffet breakfast and excellent dinner one evening when heavy downpour convinced us not to venture out.. Read review
