LOCATION: Very convenient location. Walking distance to markets and Unibersitat Train station ROOMS: Rooms are very clean, new and modern. I especially liked the modern bathrooms. SERVICE: The staff were helpful and professional FOOD: Plenty of choices for the buffet breakfast Overall, I would go back to this hotel again. It's a small boutique hotel that has good facilities and the fact that it's small adds to its charm.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and booked direct through the hotel website. On arriving at the airport it was quite easy to get a bus direct to Universitat (Aerobus 3.90 euros) where the hotel is only a five minute walk away. We were given room 218 (don't stay in this room) the room was large and the bathroom lovely but for £75.00 per night (not including breakfast - so basically just somewhere to sleep) there was no view unless you enjoy looking into a small courtyard or other people's rooms and the air conditioning did not work, and trust me opening the window meant all you could hear was the lift going up and down and the kitchen in the morning. The staff were helpful when it came to selling us a bus tour (barcelona bus is cheaper and you can hop on-hop off, however the busses are less frequent than bus turistic busses and they have 3 different routes you can hop on and hop off) but the staff were less enthused to help us with comfort within our room and we also heard our neighbour complaining about the heat too! The hotel is in a great location, close to catalunya and las ramblas and the metro station too. Definately worth a visit - La Sagradia Familia, Guell Park, Gaudi works in general, all beautiful and the gardens and parks at Mount Juic catch the funicular cable car and admire the view. Watch out for restaurants on las ramblas, we got ripped off at a tapas place who charged 10 euros for a coke and a fanta! there is a lovely restaurant going from the university to placa catalunya on the right hand side down a side street (can't remember the name) lovely paella! overall had a fantastic time in the city, the hotel however in my opinion has some naff rooms which do not accompany the hotels 3* rating!
