4.4I had a 4night stay mid of February with my son(15) and daughter (13).
We very much appreciated the cordiality of the employees.
We had 3 beds in two rooms+bathroom: one bedroom and a spacious livingroom with couch, bed, table and a kitchenette. (The kitchenette was not equipped with cookware, dishes and cutlery; didn't matter to us for this short stay.)
The hotel restaurant was nice with few guests.
For friends of seafood: Quite impressing restaurant "Botafumeiro" is just 10 minutes away on foot.
Breakfast in the Hotel: multifarious and okay, whereas 15EUR seemed not to be an exceptional offer.
Parking in the hotel garage was possible, as soon as one of the rare parking sites became free. 24EUR parking per day seemed to be fair market price. Another garage is available just around the corner.
Surroundings: it is not a noble quarter, it's not on a beach, it's not in a park or on a famous boulevard; but it's a fine city Hotel, surrounded by likeable real life.
We really had a nice stay an can recommend Mariano Cub? as basis to explore Barcelona.
