This was our 4th visit to Barcelona and 4th Hotel and we eventually found the perfect hotel, centrally located, not over priced, friendly staff and a quiet room. The hotel also offered free Champagne, wine and light food every afternoon until they ran out (about midnight) every day. If I visit Barcelona again I will definately stay at this hotel, infact ive became a member of the Club H10 chain so I will be checking out more of theier hotels.

Prompted by poor reviews, felt I had to state my husband and small daughter and I spent three very happy days in Barcelona at this hotel, the room was super, we actually asked to move to an inside room as the Plaza Espanya is a little noisy if window open, but thats the price of the terrific view which it also boasts! The hotel is easily on par with Hilton or similar, if a little dated externally - internally the rooms bright and smart, and an amazingly varied breakfast, freshly baked pastries in front of you, great hot and cold buffet. Housekeeping excellent, beds turned down every evening, well stocked etc. Super staff and a great doorman. Would recommend.
