The hotel’s pride and joy, La Poma restaurant is divided into two distinct sections. On the first floor level is a large room with traditional Spanish decor. A varied menu is on offer here, but the highly regarded specialties are meat dishes from the CHARCOAL BROIL GRILL and the traditional SEA-FOOD PAELLA.
Downstairs at street level the same menu is on offer but in a more casual, cafeteria-style setting. Both sections of the restaurant are busy with outside visitors every night and have an independent entrance from the street. Regardless of the multitude of food establishments in the area, the hotel’s LA POMA restaurant is one of the best places to sample a traditional paella.

Approximate driving (BY TAXI) time is 25 minutes and distance is 13 km. and it costs aprox. 25 eur.
The "AEROBUS" service leaves from airport every 12 min. and it takes 30 min. to the Catalunya Square (at 50 mts from Hotel Royal) and the cost is about 3,50 eur p.pers.
DRIVING directions from Barcelona Airport: Take the highway direction south towards the city center of Barcelona. The follow signs for "Las Ramblas".
The METRO system connects the hotel with the rest of central Barcelona within 15 minutes. The metro station closest to the hotel is Plaça Catalunya. There is also a wide choice of buses. The hotel can order black-and-yellow taxi cabs on request.
