They were moderately helpful about hotel bookings although I thought it was slightly inappropriate to ask me how old I was when I asked for a restaurant recommendation. To call their fitness equipment a gym is a massive stretch of the imagination.. Read review

Posted: Aug 09, 2005 - member - The location is excellent - just off Passeig de Gracia, one block from La Pedrera and a short walk from Las Ramblas and Barri Gotic. We experienced excellent service throughout our stay. We had booked a 2-br suite for our family of four, as well as an adjacent room for my in-laws. When we arrived in the late morning, only one of the suite rooms was available, but the hotel immediately arranged for the other two rooms to be prepared for us. Within ten minutes, we had access to all three rooms. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.. Read review
Posted: Nov 30, 2007 - dmatsushita - Lovely lobby with dramatic hallways, glass interior elevators ascending through a pleasing water garden, and an attentive staff made the stay most enjoyable. With a street side room, there was consistent late night traffic noise. The maid opened the windows for the first 2 or 3 days and required a desk person to come up and re-secure them with the special key. And the attractive bathroom sink took forever to drain. Because of the ultra convenient location, we’d probably stay at the Claris again although there are super alternatives in the immediate area.. Read review

We upgraded to a junior suite, and that was a good choice. Location of Claris was excellent to everything we needed in Barcelona (restaurants, shopping, nightlife, tour busses, etc. Reservation staff, desk personnel and doormen were all extremely courteous and helpful.... The main attraction is it's magnificent roof terrace and swimming pool, by far the biggest rooftop pool in Barcelona. A lot has been said of the Grand Central's rooftop 'infinity' pool, well it's the size of my bath and not a patch on the Claris'. There is also a good restaurant, and, in the summer,......
