Hotel Berna is housed in one of the Eixample’s oldest buildings, and its painted façade is the only one in the Eixample that has been fully conserved.

Inaugurated in 2003, the hotel is housed in one of the first ecclectic classical style buildings of the Eixample area, which were built in 1864 by the architect Josep Cerdà. It's the only building that conserved and completely restored it's façade's original paintings and ornaments.
