Hollenstedter Hof details: Hollenstedter Hof is a comfortable country hotel, owned by the Meyer - Hoppe family for 10 generations. Our kitchen and dining-room staff will provide you with excellent cuisine and fine wines. All of our 32 bedrooms meet 3 star standards with bath, shower, WC, telephone, TV and Mini-bar.

The hotel is ideally situated for both business and leisure guests. We have conference and seminar facilities and tourists are within a short driving distance from Hamburg, the North Sea coast, and the famous Lüneburg Heath. The area also offers sporting activities such as golf, tennis, cycling, canoeing and motorcycling, etc.

The hotel has two floors providing 32 rooms including 10 non-smoking rooms. In the restaurant with garden and terrace you may enjoy regional specialities. The hotel offers internet access, Fax- and copy service and safe. Pets are allowed for a fee of EUR 3.00 and parking places are available. The front desk is open from 6.00am to 01.00am.

Hollenstedter Hof is a popular haunt for motorcycling enthusiasts on their way to Scandinavia. We can offer you a garage with tools and platform and a dry room. Wine enthusiasts are particularly at home here: our cellar boasts 300 sorts and a stock of 6,000 bottles! But there is no shortage of beer either: We have six types on tap and can even give you a barrel for a picnic in the forest. In view of the fact that the whole family rides along on motorbike tours, we can also offer you guided tours with programme (...including motocross, water skiing and a plane trip).

I have stayed at the Hollenstedter 3 times, and upon my recommendation so have several of my colleagues, and we all agree that this is a gem of a place. When you drive up to this small hotel in the evening it is immediately evident that it is a good place, there are several cars parked outside with local number plates, always a sign that the food and service must be good if the locals of the small town enjoy coming their. The food is indeed good, it is Germany after all so be prepared for it to be heavy stuff. The service is also very friendly and I have gotten on well with English every time. The rooms are very tidy and clean. For the price they charge this must be the besy value for money in Europe.
