I booked the Best Western Cristal Cannes through lastminute.com
The hotel is listed as being 4 star with a pool. On arrival we were shown to our room which was nothing like the photos shown on the website.
We immediately left the hotel and searched Cannes for alternative accommodation. On our return we requested a refund as the hotel was not as advertised. We were advised that this was not possible & offered an upgrade. The upgrade room was equally disappointing, just larger. I don't know where they hide the room that is photographed for promotion.
The pool is actually a spa which doubles as a fountain on the rooftop.
We spent one night of a 4 night booking at this at this hotel and that was more than enough.
We moved to another 4 star hotel a closer to the beach, which was a true 4 star.

Greatl location and nice staff. I was there in the low season and paid only ?92, I would have been quite disappointed if I had paid standard ?250 for ther standard rooms which were quite basic. Overpriced breakfast
