What a view when you wake up!!!

This is a great hotel that is in walking distance of a lot of places. And only a short drive from the rest. I stayed there the two days before Octoberfest started in Munich and it was not crowded. The breakfast in the mornings is great. I love a bavarian breakfast. You are minutes from the train that takes you to Zugzpig (sp?). Which if you go to Garmisch that is a MUST DO. We stayed in a suite on the right side of the building. If you stay on the right side you will be able to see some great scenery of the alps when you wake up. It is incredible. The room was great and the staff was very very helpful.
