we were transferred from the hotel villa de mar as it had closed for refurshment due to storm damage.we checked reviews and were a bit worried. there was no need to as we had a great stay. the hotel was packed with spanish pensioners, and we had a great time in the evenings dancing.the staff were all helpfull and spoke english. the rooms were clean and no smells. the meals were hot and varied (some spanish meals that we were happy to try ).drinks were local but you can upgrade to named brands if you want to . bar staff were excellant ,so thanks to Anitta,Fabio.would deffinetly go again George & Sue Northumberland

First of all I don't go on holiday to set the table for eating. Food was really disgusting, couldn't find menu in English. Hated the pushing and shoving of the spanish pensioners, they were extremely rude. Spanish food for spanish peasants!!! Nothing open on the rooftop, no jacquizzi, no pool, no bar, no sun lounges, no entertainment unless you speak fluent spanish. All entertainment was aimed for spanish people. Shin and shoulder pads highly recommended for restaurant area. Only thing that was wonderful was the location. Receptionist was very unhelpful when we complained nothing was changed or done for the problems we noted. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!
