I have nothing bad to say about this hotel really. The rooms are very big and have everything you want. The hotel is clean and reasonably luxurious. The bar is excellent, the food is pretty good. The staff are friendly. Don't use this hotel if you are a light sleeper - it has a pumping nightclub on the top floor which is belting out tunes til the early morning. Didnt bother me, and i appreciated not having to travel far for drinks and a dance, but it would bother lots of people. Its reasonably located. About a 5/10min walk from the old town, which can be precarious on ice! Its right opposite the port which is great if you want to do a day trip to Helsinki as we did - it is worth it but for no more than a day... but theyre early and late boats so u benefit from being a quick walk away. The smell which some people have commented n is the air from the sauna working its way through the conditioning system - i recognised it from my days working in leisure centres! But it was ok in our room, although we did leave a window open most of the time. I would definately recommend this hotel, we had no problems in our 5 days there!

Nice and clean hotel with great location close to old town. I stayed there with my girlfriend for a week an were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Nice rooms and bathroom. The people at the reception stand were polite and helpfull.
