What Travellers Like
- The location is perfect and the room (a suite) was fantastic. This was city break for my wife's 40th birthday-I had requested a bottle of champagne for our room on arrival-a small bottle of cava was delivered by the staff with a note wishing my wife a happy birthday-a nice touch which was appreciated. Having read that the local taxi companies are a complete rip off (especially tourists) I emailed the Savoy in advance and asked for them to arrange a taxi pick up from the Airport. They emailed me with confirmation and we were met at the airport by a taxi driver. The taxi driver told us that the fare had been placed on my room bill so there was no need to pay. The latest Berlitz guide for Tallinn and Easyjet flight brochure both warned of rip off taxi prices and suggested that the price from the airport should be 70-80kr. I had expected this sort of over charging from a taxi driver not The Savoy.. Read review
