We wanted to stay near the downtown area, so we picked this hotel, just a few blocks from the train station and the Tivoli Gardens. The neighbodhood is a little dingy, lot of gum on the streets, not a very pretty neighborhood. Hotel had no internet during our stay, because "The computer is broken and the service is down". They didn't appear to be trying to fix it. In a very expensive city, these rooms didn';t seem worth the price. I'd stay at a different hotel next time.

Yes, it's true that the hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from Tivoli and some museums, and that's the only reason I'd stay here again if I had to. But there are other hotels of high standards nearby as well (Clarion Collection for one), so do your research. Two main problems- the bed was too small for 2 people, and the buffet breakfast was filled with cheap processed cold cuts, horrid scrambled eggs, and the usual hotel fare. The danish pastries weren't even that good- and we were in DENMARK!! If I had a third complaint it would be that for the money, I wanted some nice toiletries in my room and there were none (just a big push dispenser of a general shampoo/soap). This is a Globus hotel, and I'm curious if they list it as an "A" or "B" hotel. The hotel offers free internet access, but you have to stand at the reception counter and use the laptop they have sitting there. A first rate should have a more private area for a business center with desks, etc. This was not very comfortable or private!! There is a 7-11 store down the street from the hotel, and a small grocery market next door. Neighborhood was just fine.
