4.8Its design is unconventional. But cool, calm and collected. It's located in a part of Copenhagen that might make the prudish slightly uncomfortable. But it's close to the main station, so what do you expect? The staff are disconcertingly young and casual dress is the order of the day. But they're uniformly delightful - charming, efficient, helpful and friendly. The fabulously funky evening buffet is unlike anything I've come across in a hotel before. We loved that the chef wandered around the dining room chatting to everyone about what was on offer, what would be ready in half an hour's time and what people thought of his new healthy version of a Ceasar dressing (excellent, since you ask). The veggie lasagne was one of the best lasagnes I've eaten and I'm not even a vegetarian. Something to do with the sweet potato and pumpkin, I think. My only complaint would be that we didn't stay long enough to try the spa. I'll be putting that right next time. This is now officially my favourite hotel in Copenhagen.
