I never thought that i would ever end up in a hotel where they don't have adequate warming. It must have been like 10-15 degrees celsius in my room. I went to the reception (along with my colleagues) and informed them about the problem, and they said they were working it. Seemed something simple like deairing the system. I thought nothing much of it as the rooms are so small you could heat them with the hair dryer. When i came back after a bar visit downtown, temperature was the same, and i was lying under three blankets freezing while the hotel staff was trying to deair the system (blub blub blub blub) Without any effect, while all the other guests were turning the knobs (krrrrring krrrrrrring) desperatly to warm up their little fridge. One of my colleagues, who returned earlier from the bar, swapped his room, and then ended up with visitors in his room in the middle of the night..... they gave him a room wich was already taken. Next morning when going to breakfast he locked himself out because they blocked his card. I didn't really like it!

We were a quite big group staying there for 4 or 5 night because of an education we are into. We didn't decide the hotel by ourselves and were completely shocked upon arrival. The rooms and the stairs were just terrible, smelly, dirty, humid, mouldy and tragic. The first day we did a big job trying to move us in to another hotel, but since there were so many of us, we didn't success. We asked for better rooms, and me mysellf were moved to a suite. It wasn't as smelly, but I would never in my dreams have thought of calling it a suite! The price were about 220$ per night excl breakfast, and I really thougt you could expect something at least clean for that price in Scandinavia. But so it isn't, I sudenly realised. There are two positive things to say about the hotel though; The staff working in the reception were great, smiling and helpful, they seemed very surprised that we copmplained so much about our rooms, but it was like they had not seen any of them. The other positive thing was the breakfastroom which were nice, and the breakfast, simple, but also nice.
