Not the place for a romantic weekend

Compared to the price this place is not worth a try.... We were planning for a romantic holiday in Copenhagen and ordered a room at Centrum Hotel who advertised with "third nights off". Well, maybe you don't get much more for this price in Copenhagen, but if you are planning for a romantic stay in Copenhagen - stay at another hotel and pay a few hundred extra DKK. The rooms at Centrum Hotel seem like they have not been renovated for many many years with their ugly carpets on the floor, small windows, and yellow bathroom with worn floorings etc etc....and cheap beds!! In addition, the location is NOT among the nicest in Copenhagen when it comes to arcitecture etc...

Kein Ort für ein romantisches Wochenende

Wenn man den Preis zugrunde legt, dann lohnt sich ein Aufenthalt hier nicht...Wir wollten ein romantisches Wochenende in Kopenhagen verbringen und buchten daher ein Zimmer im Centrum Hotel und übernachteten die dritte Nacht „gratis“. Vielleicht bekommt man für diesen Preis nichts besseres in Kopenhagen, aber wenn Sie ein romantisches Wochenende in Kopenhagen verbringen wollen, dann gehen Sie in ein anderes Hotel und legen Sie lieber ein paar hundert DKK extra drauf. Die Zimmer im Centrum Hotel sahen so aus, als wenn sie seit Jahren nicht mehr renoviert worden waren. Die Teppiche waren hässlich, die Fenster klein und das Bad vergilbt mit abgenutzten Kacheln usw...und billige Betten! Die Lage ist auch nicht gerade die beste, wenn man die Architektur der Gebäude zugrunde legt...

Simplicity

Simplicity is the word here, neat, tidy and very compact single room. I have no complains. Free broadband internet connection into my laptop inside the room was a big plus. There is a free internet computer for the guest at the front desk. The room was clean, with more than adequate sockets for charging handphones, run laptop, charge batteries for camera, etc. The front desk itself is a simple neat and tidy layout, no frills, very polite, very friendly and very efficient check in welcome. The breakfast has a good spread of warm fresh bread and pastry, juice, milk, eggs, etc. Location is good - just a 100 m walk to the Central Station. The heater in the room worked wonderfully. Good value for money.

Ich war sehr zufrieden, dass wir dieses Hotel gebucht hatten. Die Lage war großartig, nahe des Hauptbahnhofs und dem Tivolipark, von unserem Zimmer blickten wir allerdings auf einen Sexshop. Wir fühlten uns aber sicher. Das Zimmer war klein, aber sauber. Das Frühstück war auch ganz schön. Wir waren über Sylvester dort und es war klasse – in der ganzen Stadt gab es Feuerwerke! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort und unserer Meinung nach stimmte das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vom Centrum.

Vraiment très bien !

Je suis très content d’avoir réservé dans cet hôtel. Il est très bien situé – près de la gare centrale et des jardins de Tivoli, et même si notre chambre donnait sur un sex-shop, nous nous sentions parfaitement en sécurité. Notre chambre était petite mais propre. Le petit déjeuner était très bon aussi. Passer le Nouvel an là-bas a été assez surprenant – méfiez-vous des feux d’artifices improvisés partout dans la ville !!! A part cela nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances – et selon nous le Centrum offre un très bon rapport qualité/prix.
