Stayed in the Hotel and had an excellent room. The cost was 1150DKK and included tickets to the Tivoli and breakfast. Ok so the area was part of the Red Light District but as I had come in from Amsterdam this was very tame. I was travelling with my 20 something year old daughter and felt quite safe in the area even after dark but anywhere you go you have to keep your wits about you. The staff were extremely helpful and could not fault them at all and the breakfast was great. The hotel is close to the station but everything else is a fair stretch of the legs.

This hotel has a nice lobby with great staff. And in a small room besides the lobby you can use internet for free. But that's all. Sure, the location is close to the central train station. But that doesn't mean good. The poor prostitutes stood outside the hotel every day, and the strip clubs and sex toy stores were occupying all the neighbourhood. One day I was walking away from the hotel and saw a police car. When I came back later that day there was blood on the ground. Across the street I saw several used needles. The room was okey, nothing fancy. It felt quite old and not too "fresh" but not dirty. The bathroom was spotless. Breakfast wasn't complimentary, but I tried it one morning. It was a rather boring selection and not worth the money. I could have stayed at this hotel again if I only needed somewhere to sleep, because it wasn't bad. But the neighbourhood was really bad, and would stop me from staying there again.
