We have just returned from a weekend break in Copenhagen staying at this hotel. The Hotel is very smart, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff were very efficient and helpful. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had in a Hotel. There was a great choice and lots of it. The Hotel is also in a very good position, close to the Central train station, with very frequent trains from the Airport. A few minutes walk to the main shopping street Stroget and also Tivoli gardens. We also walked to the Carlsberg Brewery, which is a worthwhile trip (especially if you like lager). We look forward to going back and will certainly stay at the Imperial again

We have just returned from the Hotel Imperial in Copenhagen. We were very dissappointed with the hotel. The room was not much bigger than a broom cupboard. There was hardly any storage space for our luggage. The shelves were not even big enough to lay out a folded shirt the size that you would get if your had just bought it from the shop. I stubbed my toe if i went out to the toilet during the night. The window opened completely inwards must have been about 3 ft wide, there was no catch to leave it slightly open to get air in. The window height was dangerous for small children who could have easily fallen out. The restaurant that had been advertised was closed. The only restaurant open had the same meals every night and the prices were extortioniate. The toilet was not properly cleaned.

Great hotel in a great City.

The staff are excellent - very well trained and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast buffet is excellent, as is the food in the restaurant, with a wide variety. Our room was very nice, spotlessly clean and had a great bed. It could have done with a mirror in the bedroom (rather than just in the bathroom) but that is the only negative thing I can think of ! A great hotel in a great location and in a great City! Highly recommended!
