Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden - Copenhagen, Denmark     

Nuestra estancia fue de dos noches, al principio pensamos que nos habiamos equivocado puesto que no te esperas la entrada, y menos el ascensor a punto de caerse, pero una vez superada esta fase, el personal es muy amable y la habitación aunque pequeña bastante confortable. Positivo: Destacar el desayuno realmente sano, abundante e higienico, la cama comoda y la zona relativamente tranquila y muy cerca de puntos importantes a visitar. Negativo: Por el precio te esperas algo mas, en realidad esta dentro de un edificio de viviendas particulares. El Shampoo, gel y crema no son individuales sino botes grandes para ser usados por todos los clientes, nosotros los encontramos a menos de la mitad, aunque tienes la opcion de comprar sus propios productos.

We stayed at the Guldsmeden for two nights last month and were quite pleased. To echo the comments of others, the hotel is cheap for Copenhagen at $250 per night including parking and it is well located. The room we had was in the annex and it was fine. I liked that they had in-room wireless internet that actually worked. They had a fine organic breakfast buffet as well. (They did seem to push their line of organic products a bit, but I can live with it.) The other Guldsmeden property down the street offers an organic dinner buffet, which we looked into and found to be overpriced at $45-$50 per person. Maybe that's OK for Copenhagen, since the whole city is quite expensive. The only problem I had was finding the hotel and then getting into the its reservation area with our rental car. It's a bit of a squeeze. They had parking available in the lot next door which was fine.
