Hotel Savoy is a small hotel, within walking distance of Tivoli Gardens, Town Hall, and the Stroget area (series of pedestrian-only streets that are the primary high-end shopping areas). We actually walked to and from Nyhavn (famous new harbor area) twice.
One of our not-to-be-missed highlights was the inexpensive walking tour by Richard Karpen (see out tip below).
Rooms are a mixed bag, but not unexpected for this type of small hotel. Our room was nice, with a decent-sized bathroom; our friends had one of the smaller rooms with the tiny bathroom (and we mean tiny) mentioned in other reviews. Breakfast was good, and the staff was great - answered all of our questions, and helped reserve a taxi for our morning departure.
This hotel is small, but provides a good location, and is a great value for Copenhagen.

My trip to Copenhagen was only for 3 days. The visit to the Savoy Hotel was very nice. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and will help you with everything. The atmosphere is really good and the location superb (just next to the main train station and Tivoli). The room was very clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, TV, two single beds, small but very adequate from one person. The bathroom was very small, that was the only not good point, and I am slim and measure 1.53m. It had shower (with shower curtain) but you could get the rest of the bathroom wet, very small basin....
Breakfast was continental, simple but nice, with very good yogurts, lots of different bread, cheese, ham, boiled eggs. Good quality in a friendly environment. There is a computer in the lobby for internet access. The only other not nice thing was the noise of some guests on the Saturday night, English guests not used to being light at 23:00, not the hotel’s fault but I had trouble sleeping that night.
It is a very good hotel for the price and the 2*.
