Brome Grange Hotel - Brome, United Kingdom 

Just popped in for a lunch, & was very surprised by the decor & pleasant staff unlike other reviewers.Food presented in a nice noveau cuisine style- hot & cooked well. Next time we are on the a140 at any mealtime, we will most certainly drop in for lunch or dinner, a very nice hotel.

The brome Grange hotel is supposedly a 3 star hotel, i can't even see how it got 1. The owners obviously have no idea how to run a business. They are rude and not appologetic at all for there faults. The food is disgusting. You can see the kitchen from the reception area and that alone put me off my food, as well as having dirty cutlery on the table, and butter smears left on the side plates. The staff obviously tried to hide the stains on the table clothes, but failed miserably. The only thing that i can possibly praise this hotel for is a staff member, Jade. Service with a smile and very helpful. I think she could run the hotel on her own, better than the owners and general managers who are obviously blind or plain stupid. I also attended this hotel for a wedding last year and the buffet was a big let down. It was very plain and boring. No salad, meats. It was like attending a kids party and eating cheese and onion of a tooth pick. I think this hotel should be closed or the owners should sell up. I also think general management should give up there jobs as they obviously have no clue what there doing either.
