Vista Serena details: Beautiful resort located in the peaceful Maspalomas, 3km away from the famous sand dunes and 1 km from Playa del Inglés where you will find shops, restaurants and bars. Very good quality accommodation with a friendly & relaxed atmosphere. Recently refurbished, self catering apartments. Beautiful gardens surrounding the apartment building.

The resort has two beautiful heated swimming pool. Several evenings per week there is live entertainment. There is a Supermarket on site open 24 hours. A courtesy shower is availabile for late departures - free of charge. On site laundry.

Location

Maspalomas boasts many attractions. Family attractions include waterparks, the famous Palmitos park (a sub tropical oasis) and Sioux city (a recreation of the wild west).There is an 18 hole golf course nearyby also in the area is water sports, go cartin, horse riding and many more things to do.

February sees the beginning of the famous Carnival, which is the highlight of the year for both the locals and the tourists.

Rooms

Very good quality accommodation with a relaxed atmosphere. Each apartment has a large private terrace leading into a comfortable living area, all the apartments are fully equipped and immaculately maintained. Satellite T.V. not coin operated, DVD channels, tasfefully decorated bedrooms all have a double bed. Plenty of space in the wardrobe and proper hangers. The windows have beautiful wooden shutters and curtains are lined to make sure that those bright sun rays don't wake you up too early in the morning. The sofa can be converted into a bed for a friend of for your children. Beautifully decorated bathrooms each with plenty of space for all your necessary items.
All the beds and mattresses are new since June 2005.

The very popular pool bar opens from 9.30 for breakfast, serving snacks during the day with a full menu through till 12.00. Several nights a week there is free entertainment, each week there is a barbecue night where you can eat as much as you desire. The quality of the food can only be described as EXCELLENT.

We've stayed at Club Vista Serena twice and loved it both times. Apartments are well equipped and spacious and have either a balcony or terrace where you can sit out and enjoy the Canarian sunshine. Whole resort is very clean, pool area never feels overcrowded, all in all a relaxing place to stay. Resort is located near other self catering resorts about 5 minutes drive to Meloneras where there's a great selection of restaurants to choose from. Pool bar also serves wide selection of cheap food which they'll even deliver to your apartment for you to enjoy on your balcony. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and always happy to help.

we stayed in this resort as a timeshare resort but apartments are also available as rentals, people returning yearly as it is so popular. All one bedrooms, with large living/kitchen area. Plenty of equipment if you wish to self-cater. Ground floors have a patio and 1st floors have a balcony. We were ground floor and fortunately did not have noisy people above us. Nice heated pool with poolside beds which unfortunately people were booking at least two hours before sun even arrived on them although there are rules saying no booking of beds. Poolside bar but we ate in the next resort Grimanesi which had lovely very reasonably priced food and really friendly staff. Buses nearby to resort in both directions. Walk to sand dunes and promenade was about an hour but a taxi only cost approx 4euros. Nearest large supermarket again required a taxi for 3.50euros but after initial large shop topping up could be bought closer to home. Weather hot in December so this really made the holiday
