Elizabeth - Saint-Malo, France 

I am sure that Jean-Nicholas gets many one nighters on their way to or from the UK and the ferry to Portsmouth. However that does not mean you don't get exceptional service at this gem of a place inside the walls of old St Malo. Much recommended!

The second time we have stayed. Just as excellent as last time. Isabelle and Jean Nicholas are the perfect hosts - attentive, charming and full of energy. Everything is "no problem" The hotel, whilst small, was spotless. Quiet area but all the delights of St Malo, literally just around the corner. The staff were particularly helpful in reminding us of the firework display that evening and suggesting the best place to go and watch. Other hotels may not take the trouble to be so attentive. I was particularly impressed how Jean Nicholas was able to rustle up a taxi just minutes after the Bastille Day parade had finished. They deserve to succeed !!
