Stayed 2 nights - ?62 for 2 per night including breakfast.
Olde world hotel - converted mansion. All rooms are different and whilst clean, tidy & functional could do witha little updating.
Good bar area and food was good - had a bar meal served to us in restaurant. Staff very good & freindly.
Breakfast excellent buffet and full english.
Ample car parking.
Handy for University/halls of residence. 5 min walk to queens road - many bars/eateries or a nice leisurely 40 min walk along a pedestria tree lined avenue into city centre - 5/10 mins in taxi cost about ?6.
Nice hotel - just needs a bit of tarting up.- also do loads of events - murder mystery etc so bar can be full of people in fancy dress which brightens up ones stay

Myself and three work colleagues spent four nights here recently and enjoyed our stay immensely. Having perused the limited feedback previously posted, we were somewhat apprehensive! We booked four single rooms, which were basic, but clean and served their purpose. However, the staff, a varied menu and the breakfasts (included) made our stay memorable, and because of this I would definitely stay here again. I should also point out that the hotel is situated very near what appears to be one of the better areas of Leicester - great shopping and some cool bars - we enjoyed happy hour drinking Champers one night (forget the name of the place; too tipsy!!!!)
