Location

If you want to find intact nature at its best, you will find it on Usedom. The lush diversity of the flora and fauna are due to the favourable climate. You can find the oldest coastal resorts of Europe on Usedom. The coastal resorts of Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck exist since more than 100 years. The boom time of the island was during the time of the German Emperor in 1871. During this time the island was also called the “bathtub of Berlin”. The coastal resorts of Heringsdorf, Ahlbeck and Bansin (founded in 1887) were called the “Emperor’s resorts” due to the illustrious guests of that time. During this boom some of the most splendid buildings where built on the island, of which most of them still grace Usedom today. People still talk about the “coastal resort architecture” today.

You can enjoy your breakfast in the sunny restaurant “Klabautermann” or on the outdoor terrace. Start the day with a varied buffet. During the summer we also serve coffee and cake on our roof-deck.
