Do not confuse the Hotel Andel with Andel's Hotel. They are very close together (only 500m apart) but of very different standards. When I arrived, the room was dirty (stains in the sink, black mould around the bath) and carpets were frayed. The room was very hot (no air conditioning) and smelled a bit musty. I could not face staying in this hotel, so immediately checked out and managed to get a room in Andel's Hotel nearby (which was very nice).

Andel's looks and feels great. The rooms are clean and well set-out and I enjoyed the design elements in the lobby, room and public areas. It really added to the vibe. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about whatever questions we through their way. The breakfast was incredible. I've never eaten so much and enjoyed a hotel breakfast as much as at Andel's. The range and quality was amazing.
