We do quite a lot of travelling now as we have retired, and I have never been in a Hotel or Motel so poorly managed. First off we did not get the room we reserved, we reserved a double room 2 beds, we got a tiny room one double bed. We arrived in Scotland very early, first flight into Glasgow Airport, immigration and customs weren't ready for us, we were so early. We were tired when we arived so we just took the room. It was HOT in the room, we opened the window and it didn't open to the outside to some ventilation shaft that was no help.First thing next morning I had all the paperwork from my reservation and took it down, no one was concerned, got a giggle from the girl on the desk. They did change it, neither room had a place to hang your clothes, no phone in the room, pay phone in the lobby. If you managed to get thru to your friend you couldn't hear it was right outside the bar. Every night there was something going on, weddings christenings, you name it, that is their business and they have absolutely no right taking in guests. You also have to carry, drag whatever your bags up 3 flights of stairs, I realize in Scotland that is considered to be only 2. The Hotel is very shabby,, rugs ripped, needs a coat of paint and a real good clean. Should be closed down as far as I am concerned. Don't expect them to give you any messages, I don't know what they do with them but they don't give them to you unless you ask.

We stayed at this hotel on the night of a friends wedding party
The hotel was very nice with everything anyone could possibly need supplied and it was very clean
We think it had possibly all been re-vamped recently as everything was new
We had one of the larger rooms but our friends who had a smaller room found it adequate
The hotel staff were also very nice and helpful
