One terrific spot. Above the town of Ottobeuren, with a view of the abbey. Nestled right at the foot of a forest with walking paths at your doorstep. We had a room over the lower roof, with a balcony. The restaurant serves wonderful meals. One of the best things I had in my 11 days in Germany I had here. Breakfast was included in the 258 euros we paid for three nights, all taxes included. A bit of a climb up to it from the town, but it's relative seclusion was worth it. Unfortunately, in March one of those mega-monster hotel complexes opened up right next door. This is a family owned place and it shows. Beautifully decorated, your eyes will find something fascinating at every turn. Loved it.
