3The hotel has many different rooms. Some are better than others. I was lucky to have been able to look at many rooms before I fought to be in a nicer room w/ 2 beds. I stayed on the 3rd floor which seems to be the better rooms with real bathrooms. Many members of my family stayed on the 2nd and 1st floors. The bathrooms were modular and really small.
The elevator is only for 2 people, but it's nice that it even has an elevator.
The breakfast was typical Euro breakfast with bread, juice, cereal, warm milk and some cold cuts. It got very old after a few days.
The Noise was almost unbearable at times. Church bells constantly, and i don't mean a nice chime or two. They were just spewing bells, all clashing with each other. The street noise was also really loud. The sounds from the market and beer garden just resinated up the small alley. It also got very hot because there were no fans or A/C. On the cooler days, it wasn't that bad.
The rate I paid was 109 Euro/night. That was for a double room...which had 2 beds at a 90 degree angle.
This hotel is in a great location, close to all the shopping and markets of Munich. But do not expect it to be a relaxing place to chill after a big day or night touring the city.
The hotel also didn't have their WiFi internet working which was a real bummer. They did have antennas in the hallways, but it obviously was not working. And the staff didn't really care either. They also wanted my entire family occupying 4 rooms to check out a day early...which was their error. We did get to stay, but it wasn't without some stress about the reservation that we couldn't get to because there was no internet.
