Cheap and clean

Basic hotel. Short walk to pedestrian city center. Nice, small, clean, refurbished room and bathroom (with a bad smell, anyway). Could sleep parents + 2 teens + 1 baby in babycot provided by hotel. Close to shops and railway station. Cheap parking if you ask reception for reduced rate. The rooms are small but comfy (flat screen tv) - hall and stairways need embellishment. Buffet breakfast, food not replaced promptly if finished or not replaced at all. Good value for money. We got the rate of 110 euro for the 5 of us.

Il Munich Inn di Monaco (attenzione, da non confondere con l'Holiday Inn Munich!) è un alberghetto buono per una notte di passaggio in città, ma non lo consiglierei per una vacanza. L'albergo è posizionato a 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale, nel quartiere turco della città. Il centro è distante 20 minuti a piedi, oppure due fermate di treno dalla stazione. La strada su cui sorge è abbastanza trafficata, e di notte è un continuo via vai di ambulanze. La colazione è di bassa qualità, nonchè servita da personale scortese, e non ci sono macchinette automatiche in caso di necessità. E' inoltre curioso come un albergo di oltre 50 stanze non abbia un hall, che sembra essere stata fagocitata dall'adiacente negozio di frutta e verdura.

I have just returned from a holiday with my family. We stayed at the Munich Inn but i will never go there again and this is for various reasons. The location of the hotel is good next to the main railway station. The breakfast is also good but if you like fresh fruit you will have to go for breakfast after 8 o'clock. The cleanliness of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The towels were clean and changed everyday but the bed linen was not changed before 8 nights of us staying at this hotel. It was changed after we informed at the reception that they had never been changed and that day the room was only ready after 6 o'clock in the evening. The sheets were stained and one of the pillowcases was thorn. The flooring of the room was never cleaned either actually it was only cleaned up on the day the linen was changed. The lighting over the bed was not functional and was held in place with a piece of paper. The ward robe was only fit for a single room and not quadruple. We had only 6 hangers for our clothes. The hotel does not have a luggage room so if you need it you will be sent to the main train station to lock up your luggage. This hotel is not a 3 star as it is stated to be, we have been in other 3 star and they are far better off.
