Hotel was modern and clean, breakfast was very good.
A Bit Out Of The Way Posted: Wed, Oct 31 2007 My family and I arrived the first week of October 2007. the hotel is a bit out of the way when arriving into Munich airport. It takes about 1 hour approximately to get there if you go by train and bus. I'm not sure how long it takes by taxi but it will be very expensive. We were told about 65.00 euros. By public transportation it costs about 8.80 euros.
Once we got there, you realize this is a small hotel. If you have more than two adults, the room will be tight. I must emphasize that the rooms were extremely clean!!!
The breakfast area is very quaint and friendly. They serve OJ, Passion Fruit Juice and coffee. Different types of meats from ham to salami and everything in between. They also have cold cereal.
If your going to Octoberfest, be advised that you're about 25 minutes away by train. You have to take a bus to the train station and take 2 different trains. Don't let this fool you. It is very convenient, safe and clean.
We paid about 149 euros per night and if it were any other ocassion I'd say it's way overpriced. Being the fact that it was Octoberfest; supply and demand raised the price of the stay.
If your going to visit and walk the city this is certainly not the most convenient place to stay. The price is probably fine in the offseason to convince you stay away from the city, but if you want proximity to the city central this is not the place.
