Although it has a great location, we came away feeling as if we could have found something better. The staff is slightly friendly, and I am only giving them that because they were helpful in giving driving directions out of the city. The rooms are of good size, but feel quite dark and dismal at night due to poor lighting. The mattress springs were poking us all night and were quite uncomfortable. Another thing to put us off, the housekeeping left our room unlocked one day after cleaning. On the good side, breakfast was nice with good selection of meats, cheeses, cereals and breads. We had little street noise for being so centrally located. I know there are many places to stay in Munich, and I would recommend to keep looking. I will not be coming back here for my next trip.

We did NOT have a good experience here. Our companions were first given a room where the shower door was broken, the toilet didn't flush and was leaking sewage onto the floor, and the heat wasn't working (in December!!). Thankfully our friends were switched to another room when they complained, but the hotel had no business giving ANYONE the original room. In both cases the mattresses were some of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on and the bathrooms just did not feel clean. We didn't leave the hotel after the first night because we were told at check in that the price was 360 euro total for 2 rooms, 3 nights and that we would need to pay cash (different from our faxed quote, but we were thankful throughout our stay that we were only paying 60 euro a night considering the problems). At check out we were told that the rooms were 90 euro a night and the check in person had made an error. The hotel would not honor the 60 euro price that we were given at check in and initially would not even budge to give us some money off the bill, not even a small discount. We had to delay check out because we had to go find another ATM because we did not have enough extra cash at that moment to pay 180 more euro. Eventually we were given 20 total euros off the bill, but needless to say we were pretty upset by it all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that I know.
