Just stayed in the Alfa and found it to be a very nice, clean, well-decorated hotel on a quiet street in downtown Munich. I was more than impressed with the decor and the amenities, as well as the staff's professionalism and friendliness. We will stay there again. One of the best in Europe that we've found.

the rooms were clean but the carpets were a litt;le stained. The breakfast offerings are excellent and my mother and I love this hotel.

Excellent quality for the price. Although the immediate surroundings of the hotel are rather dreary, it is quite central and the old town center and the museums are within walking distance

Excellent staff, great location. The showers are on another floor so that is a bit of a pain. Can get a bit noisy in the morning, depending on which side of the road your room faces.

They show a nice room from a three stars hotel, and give you a room without toilet and shower. Had to pay 18 Euro more to have a "normal" room with the comforts you would expect from a three stars... but even in the "superior" room i wasn't given soap or shampoo. Definitely a very bad hotel.
