3.9We are the mature couple and stayed at the hotel at the beginning of January 2009. The rooms were big clean but we were put in the huge room for four, with four beds, and the only available light switch was inconveniently located at the entrance to the room - no bedside lamps at all. So in order to switch on/off the light one person needed to go all way towards the entrance door.
Neither did the electricity work in the bathroom - the staff temporarily put the desk lamp there to have some light, but it was not too convenient to use the basin with the desk lamp standing on the edge of it.
The only mirror in the room was in the bathroom; and the only available wardrobe only had hangers, no shelves available. There were other wardrobes in the room but they were locked.
The reception staff left for the night, there was no one at the reception between midnight and 7:00 am, and this is a 4-star hotel, which is kind of strange. We had an early flight and wanted to check out at a quarter to 7, and the reception did not show up before 7. Had we had the earlier flight, we would have had a problem.
Overall impression - decent clean hotel, good location, but needs some personnel training and reviewing of their customer service concept. Not a 4-star at this moment.
Good enough for 1 overnight stay, but not longer. There are a number of other hotels in Munich with competitive prices and better service.
