Simple but very nice clean hotel. Our room was vey large and beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a good size with tub and shower. Mini safe in room. Request a room on the back or in the adjoining building across the courtyard away from the street. 15 mins walk to centre of Munich, shopping, market, beer gardens etc. or a short tram ride with tram stop right at corner near hotel. As other people have mentioned there are a few sex shops etc but we walked around after midnight and felt perfectly safe. Internet cafes are on same street and very inexpensive. Staff were quite helpful and efficient. The breakfast is huge and you can eat enough to carry you through till dinner if desired. Enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

The Europa is a clean, well run hotel not far from the centre of Munich. The hotel is set out in two buildings and we were given a room in a seperate building across the courtyard on the back of the hotel. Quiet room, we never heard any other visitors, with a view over a small courtyard and some local residences. The room was very large, spotless and the beds extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast is fresh and offers a very wide variety, something for everyone. As has been noted there are a couple of sex shops, bars etc in the area but we felt perfectly safe walking at night. The hotel doesn't have a computer for internet use but there are several internet cafes on the same street. We booked directly with the hotel and received prompt and pleasant service. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
