The Theresienwiese and Hauptbahnhof underground stations are approximately 500 metres away from the hotel. From these hubs you can access all areas of the city with ease.
Popular attractions in Munich include the beautiful Englischer Garten park, Schloss Nymphenburg (Nymphenburg Palace) and the historic Altes Rathaus (old town hall).
Travel information
By car from Munich’s Mittlerer Ring:
- Either follow signs to Munich's main station, Hauptbahnhof.
- Bayerstrasse is the street south of the main station.
- Or stay on the Mittlerer Ring until you arrive at a bridge called Donnersberger Brücke (please see map).
- Stay on Landsberger Strasse in the direction of the city centre to hit Bayerstrasse.
- To unload the car, please stop for a few moments in front of the hotel.
By train:
Munich main station, Hauptbahnhof, is only 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Leave the station at the southern side near platform 11 and you will enter Bayerstrasse. Turn right and walk up the street until number 95 on the left hand side. You have arrived.
You can alternatively catch tram number 18 or 19 from the middle of Bayerstrasse. Our hotel is the second stop, Hermann-Lingg-Strasse, on the tram towards Pasing. We’re just across the street in the green building at number 95 of Bayerstrasse.
By plane:
Munich International Airport, Franz-Josef-Strauss, is about 45 minutes (35 km) from the city centre and Munich main station. Please use S-Bahn number 8, shuttle-bus or taxi to reach the main station, Hauptbahnhof. From there, see above.
