Right on the quayside, minutes from every featured highlight, great location. Immaculate small rooms,but very comfortable beds. In high season, staff run off their feet, and often appear frazzled. Not "small and friendly", but efficient tourist mill. Meals (all self-service) offer lots of choice (and good ones for vegetarians), but food is bland, although tailored to the health conscious. Terrace bar is attractive and comfortable, but food is routine. Hot water (for shaving) in short supply by afternoon. Not so much as a postcard for sale in the lobby.
