I booked this hotel on line, and went for it due to its location beside the Midi train station. The location is excellent, only 3-4 mins walk to the station. The rooms are clean, and have free wi-fi. I was travelling for business, so really this had everything I needed, plus the price is great compared to what I've paid in the past for hotels in Brussels. Ok, so the rooms aren't that pretty, but if all you need to do is sleep and shower, this hotel is just fine. The one thing I would say about it, is the area doesn't feel that safe for a female traveller on her own. It felt fine during the day, but at night, I did feel quite conspicuous as one of the only women around, but saying that the second I had a male colleague with me, I felt fine again.

We lost our booking at the Auberge Autrichienne, which was pretty much a hole anyway, and had to find something else close by quickly. You could do worse than stay at the Agenda Midi but the neighborhood still sucks. Our room was clean and fairly quiet and some amenities were offered. Breakfast pretty basic.
