The room itself was a reasonable size and the bathroom looked fairly modern and had a wonderful power shower. The hotel was actually reasonable well situated in relation to public transport. 5 minutes walk to the tram then another 15 minutes into the city centre for a well priced 2 euro. This hotel was a good base for the two days and provided a hearty breakfast but i wouldnt recommend any longer.. Read review

How to reach us by car -

You will reach us if you take the Autobahn A3 in the direction of Frankfurt or Oberhausen. Take the exit 26 for Dellbrück/Holweide. At the traffic lights, turn left into Bergisch Gladbacher Strasse. After approximately 500 metres, you will see the hotel on the right hand side. Free parking space is available directly in front of the hotel or in the parking garage.

How to reach us by public transport -

From the Cologne Main Station, take the U18 train in the direction of Thielenbruch. Leave the train after 11 stations at Holweide Vischeringstrasse. Maximum of 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Cross the tracks and at the next large crossing, turn left into Bergisch Gladbacher Straße. After approximately 200 metres, you will find the hotel on the left hand side.

How to reach us from airport Köln/Bonn -

From the airport, follow the signs to the A59 motorway and take this motorway in the direction of Köln. At Dreieck Heumar, change to the A3 in the direction of Oberhausen. Take the exit 26 for Köln Dellbrück/Holweide.

S13 or RE 8 to Köln Hauptbahnhof -

Leave the train at the Hauptbahnhof. In the underground, take the U18 train in the direction of Thielenbruch. Leave the train after 11 stations at the station Holweide/Vischeringstrasse.

great wee hotel, maybe slightly out of the way from the centre of koln, but on the plus side the s bahn station is just round the corner from the hotel and very quick to the main train station in koln. the fare is reasonable, plenty of seats, clean. not a bit like the uk. the breakfast is indeed very good. if you need to phone/email the hotel, they are very helpfull with any enquires.

This hotel is being renovated. The garage was out of use. The room where I stayed was in the corner of the Hotel and very noisy in the night. The bathroom was newly renovated, very clean. Breakfast service was perfect, not only a small continental one but satisfactory. I suggest to stay in this hotel of travellers, an persons on businness. The city train is very close, easy to visit the monumnents of this beautiful city.
